Scholarship Application

The DFW Gator Club is happy to announce our scholarship application for 2026.

A function of the alumni within the DFW area is not only to network with others but to also give back to those thinking about joining the Gator Great!   The DFW Gator Club is proud to be able to provide scholarships to potential students to aid in reducing their tuition while attending UF.  This year we are continuing this tradition by providing multiple $1500 scholarships to our DFW individuals.  Linked above is the application which needs to be completed (all blanks completely filled) and submitted, along with the following additional requirements:

  • An official copy of your High School transcript
  • A copy of your official SAT or ACT score, IF NOT ON YOUR HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT.
  • At least one Letter of Recommendation from your school (no more than 3)
  • At least one Letter of Recommendation from outside your school (no more than 3)
  • A personal statement addressing why you selected the University of Florida, what you hope to accomplish through your education and why you should receive a scholarship from the Gator Club®. Please limit to one page (8 ½” x 11”).
THE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED AS STATED OR THE APPLICATION COULD BE DETERMINED INCOMPLETE……..
 

The application must be submitted in ONE PDF document and emailed back to Gatorpttx@icloud.com NO LATER THAN (TBD) for consideration for scholarships.  Please use “DFW GATOR CLUB SCHOLARSHIP” as the subject line of the email of your application.   Should you have any questions regarding the process, please feel free to let me know.  The DFW Gator Club will be announcing the recipients in early June 2026. I have copied your parental email as well as yours to ensure you receive the information.

Our anticipated timetable is as follows:

Submissions Due:  TBD

Scholarship Committee Review and Decision: TBD

Notification of Scholarship Awards to Recipients: Early June 2026

Award of Scholarship Funds:  Fall Semester, 2026*

*Scholarship disbursements are made available to recipients through the UF Office for Student Financial Affairs in accordance with their policies and timing.
